  Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)
Here we try to answer the most commonly asked questions about our Case Tracking service. If you have a question that is not dealt with here then please feel free to E-mail Mark Slade

Q: What is Case tracking?

Q: Who updates it?
A: This is a way for you to see a report on your matter (whatever sort of matter it is - conveyancing, divorce, whatever) on the internet, 24 hours a day. Have a look at an example of the type of report you would see.

A: It's updated totally automatically. We do all our work in the office on a computerised system. The reports you see are a reflection of what has happened on that system. If the report says we haven't done it, then we haven't - it's as simple as that.

Q: Is it secure?

Q: How often is it updated?
A: Yes. you can only access the reports with a case number that we provide, and a password that you provide. We do not use the case number on any other correspondence, and the password is not revealed to anyone other than our staff. You are responsible for making sure your password and case number details are not revealed to anyone else who may have access to your own computer.

A: The reports are updated twice a day every day, but you can obviously look at them 24 hours a day. No-one monitors how often you look at the reports, and you can E-mail the staff in charge of your case directly from the reports

Q: How much does it cost?

Q: Can anyone use this?
A: It's totally free. We have used our computer systems to make sure that there is no extra work involved in us providing the reports, and therefore we don't make a charge for them.

A: Provided we are acting for you in your conveyancing, then yes you can have your own reports. We already provide these to a large number of our clients - see what they think of them
